Splinter Cell Conviction

Went to the "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction" Launch event last night! I really love games like New Super Mario Brothers Wii and rhythm games like DJ Hero and Rock Band, but I have yet to really get into serious games like the Splinter Cell series. It looks so intense! Have you guys played any action/adventure/spy games? What do you recommend?

I only played Splinter Cell Pandora Thomorow. This was my first game for ps2. I understood it right a away, not so hard to learn.
