What I Ate Today
A lot of you have been asking me about my diet. I try to consume approximately 1,200 calories a day. My favorite meal delivery service, Sunfare makes it really easy to customize my meal and keep good portion control. In this week's OK! Magazine, Nutritionist Keri Glassman examines my daily eats to every little gram. I love waking up with Irish oatmeal accompanied by handful of berries. Wash it all down with some hot tea. I love blueberry and vanilla tea. That day when I talked with OK! I grabbed a grande English breakfast tea from Starbucks. For lunch, I had a turkey wrap with a little dip of ranch, vegetable soup and a nice cool passion fruit iced tea. I'll admit it, I love love love ranch dressing – it's my weakness!
Also, it's actually really good to snack all day. And it totally works out if you're out and about all the time - I frequently eat in the car! String cheese, kiwi and a few almonds are easy snacks to throw in my bag. At dinner, Sunfare offers the perfect portion of steak and veggies. It leaves me completely full and satisfied!
Check out the break down of fats, carbs and protein of my day’s diet at OK! Magazine and see what their experts says!
How do you keep your diet in check?
xoxo Audrina

Well, I start my day by eating fruit, i take as much as i want. I eat 1500 calories and I try to do some exercise everyday. There's nothing wrong with eating 1200 or 1500 calories, you have to eat as much as you need. And for some people it's less than 2000. I hope I will still lose some weight and get in shape for summer.I have also a suggestion for some, I use to do a fruit-day every week. On monday I only eat a lot of fruit to detox my body, you feel very good and full of energy after that day and your body is totally cleaned.very nice.

Ok my health-kick begins today! haha you've inspired me. :) Those foods sound yummy, it always helps to see that you dont need to starve yourself or not enjoy food if you're trying to maintain a healthy weight. I'm off to the store to buy lots of veggies, and some tortilla and chicken!

Hi,I just have to comment here. I also am really big into my figure and fitness. I work out multiple times a day, doing 40 minutes to an hour of cardio in the mornings with weight lifting in the afternoon. Although I work out so much and maintain a busy lifestyle, I also only consume 1200 to 1500 calories a day. This includes my protein shakes. This is why America is fighting the obesity fight. People always think that the normal is double than what it should be. An average diet should only be 2000 calories. If you want to maintain your weight limit and/or get definition, you need to lower that calorie intake by 500 at least depending on your own personal goal. I say high five to Audrina for her awesome work because she IS setting a good example for the younger generations. This is the way the younger kids need to be taught, so we can help defeat the obesity problems in America.

First of all there is nothing wrong with eating 1200 calories a day or less. Personally I eat 1200 or less sometimes even less than a 1000 calories. Somebody put up 2000-3000 calories are you kidding me??? 3000 is close to gaining a pound a day.I eat once-twice a day sometimes even less there is nothing wrong with wanting to eat healthy and maintaining a good figure.

You are getting a lot of flack about the 1200 Calorie a day diet BUT People have to take into account Height and Activity level. It is different for everyone and depends whether a person is trying to maintain their weight or lose weight. It sounds fine to me unless a person is underweight and doesn't want to lose. I agree Audrina dsn't look like she needs to lose weight, but that's probably enough calories for her.

1,200 calories is way too low for a girl like you. Its not healthy at all. If you dont work out, you should eat 2000 cal a day. If you do work out, you should eat around 3000 cal a day.. If you want to loose weight you should eat 1500 a day exercise. Audrina you have a beautiful and skinny body. You dont have to loose weight. If you eat less youll burn less cals, if you it more (healthy food of course) youll burn off more cals.

Audrina 1200 calories is not healty at all.. If you want to be in shape you could better work out than starving yourself! you know when you sleep you already burn 1500 calories! You should eat 2000 calories.. And give young teens a good example, cause when they see you eat only 1200 they will do the same! Not healty!

I've been vegetarian for 7yrs now, but I just recently started going raw, meaning i don't eat any cooked foods at all, just fruits veggies and nuts. and let me tell you, it's HARD. But it's good for my body and i can appreciate that.

Audrina, why do you only eat 1200 calories? That is extremely low, especially for someone as active as you.

Thanks for admitting how hard you work for your amazing body. There's nothing I hate more than when actresses are like "I eat burgers whenever I want." It's great you're secure enough to admit you're human and have to work to look so good!
